GBDX for Sustainability Challenge

We are opening up our geospatial big data platform, GBDX, and our 100+ petabyte image library to accelerate innovation in support of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Challenge

The UN has named 17 goals that will help boost sustainable development worldwide. We need passionate participants who can leverage our platform and imagery for geospatial projects supporting work in disaster response, food security, poverty elimination, ending malaria, to name a few.

Propose your ideas and how you would leverage GBDX and high-resolution satellite imagery to solve some of the world’s most pressing issues. All projects are expected to share any outputs from the challenge.
