Collaboration Opportunities for the Digital Industry

When we compare the human development index to the ecological footprint we can see that we’re heading towards an unsustainable future. Urban areas are a key contributor to this. As populations keep moving into urban areas and as cities keep on growing – what can cities do to ensure they’re smart enough to remain sustainable?

High energy consumption, overpopulation, high emissions – these are some of the key challenges countries and cities face. The formula for change? Long term political commitment and data to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
